The Recruiter Confidence Promise applies to Meat & Seafood Recruiter Membership holders on Meat Index and Fish Index. Apply-click data is recorded automatically and shown against each vacancy on your My Jobs page. The zero-click extension applies to active (published) job posts only, not draft or expired posts. Founding Recruiter rates apply to the price at the time of first purchase; price changes after 24 months of continuous membership are at our discretion.
Can I still pay per listing without a membership?
No — Membership is now the only way to get an Enhanced or Featured listing. It costs less than the old standalone tiers did (£149 against £249, £299 against £399) and includes a year of job posts.
Which listing receives my membership upgrade?
Before payment, you select one Meat Index listing that you have claimed. We confirm that specific listing in your welcome email and upgrade it automatically after successful payment.
Are credits per account or per listing?
Job credits are per account, not per listing. Directory membership credits are used on Meat Index; recruiter credits work on Meat Index and Fish Index. Your balance is shown on your My Jobs page, and you choose "Use a credit" when you post a job.
What happens to unused credits at renewal?
Credits reset annually on your renewal date. Unused credits do not roll over.
Can I upgrade mid-year?
Yes — contact us and we will prorate the difference. Downgrading takes effect at the next renewal.
Do I need a membership to use the trade board or classifieds?
No. Posting to the Surplus Board and Buyer Requests and placing a classified ad are free for every business. Paid boosts are optional.
Do recruiter credits work on both Meat Index and Fish Index?
Yes. Meat & Seafood Recruiter Membership credits are valid on both Meat Index and Fish Index. You can join on either site. Sign in to the other site with the same email address and your credits are there.
When do recruiter credits expire?
Credits from your recruiter membership last for your membership year and are replaced with a fresh allowance when it renews. Top-ups and Featured upgrades expire 12 months from purchase.
I am a recruitment agency, not an employer. Can I join?
Yes. Recruitment agencies are welcome. When registering, select 'Recruitment agency' as your organisation type. Agency accounts do not require a directory listing and go through a brief manual approval step before posting is enabled.
